Adventures into the belly!

We really are having a kid.  There was an ultrasound today because the heartbeat wasn’t heard, the kid was hiding in a dark corner of the uterus.  Pretty amazing stuff, it’s about 3 inches long and it’s arms were wiggling.

That’s a first, me mentioning my wife’s uterus on the internet.  When I get a copy of the pictures, I’ll think about posting them here.

We’ve been busy with our garage sale last week, hence the lack of blogging.  That is now over and besides the wedding this weekend, I have time.  I need to revisit the hedges again and figure out which side to work on.  Probably the west side hedges since I haven’t talked to the neighbors with the fence to see if I can get in their yard to help cut them down.  I feel bad since they are overhanging a lot.

I started playing my campaign on Rainbow Six: Vegas yesterday.  I really like that game.

The few of us who hang out on #ubuntu-programming had a good chat this afternoon.  It was quite enjoyable and it seemed like the old days in that channel where we would discuss all sorts of stuff.

Over the Hedges…

James Bond is the mac-daddy of all mac-daddies.  Had to get that out.  I think a part of every man wants to be a secret agent.  There also isn’t anything on except for ‘Moonraker’ since the 24 Hour Le-Mans race ended.  It’d be nice if Speed showed the U.S. Grand Prix since I watched the qualifying runs yesterday.

It’s a good thing I checked the guide again because ‘The Hunt for Red October’ is now on and that is a great movie.

In other news, Erica and I went to the sneak preview of ‘Ratatouilli.’  It was a very good movie, not as kid oriented as the rest of the Pixar films.  After that we hit up ColdStone for some ice cream where I got the normal banana ice cream with banana chunks and Reese’s Pieces.

I did do some hedge trimming yesterday and got the set directly behind the house done, but I filled the yard waste bin and couldn’t do more.  I had started down the east side hedge row, but ran out of room for waste.  This is going to be a 4-5 week task I think.

I have done quite a bit of work on the new Model Aviators site, mainly just copying old text to the new layout.  I did get some CSS help from the forums since I had something doing stuff I didn’t want and couldn’t figure out.

Entering the Forgotten Title…

I haven’t worked on the Model Aviator website in a couple of weeks and I realized tonight that I probably should. I do need to make the template for 1024×768 instead of the 800×600 I was using to accommodate the older members of the club who probably have horrible screen resolutions.

I’ve also started visiting the forums again and trying not to be harsh on noobs. In fact, I helped someone today. :o

TV sucks tonight, so far the only good thing that was on, was the new episode of “Man vs. Wild.”

Pandora is pissing me off. I keep wanting to hear “Hypnotize” by Notorious B.I.G. and have added it to two stations about three days ago, and it has yet to play. I normally don’t listen to rap, as I’ve probably stated before, but it works well at work.

It’s really cold downstairs in the house and I have now hunkered under two blankets, with one covering the keyboard section of my computer as I type this. I was going to provide proof, but it’s too much work uploading a picture to my googlepages site which holds all of my random crap on the internet. I will tell you that I look ridiculous.

Tomorrow evening is going to be fun. I got Erica and myself tickets to the sneak preview of Ratatouille. It looks to be a great movie.

If you don’t know, I enjoy shows about asteroids hitting the Earth. I love it when they start mentioning shooting stuff at them to change their orbit or destroy it. Scientific speculation is great stuff. As is the inevitable extraterrestrial visitation.

In a search for quiz information with the model club, I found an aircraft I haven’t seen before, the Rockwell International Saber Bat. It is a forward swept wing (FSW) aircraft similar to the X-29 or the SU-47.

I am exhausted from staying up late and then going to work early. I should stay up late and work on the website, but I might have to call the night soon.

Oooh, I need to get a copy of “Band of Brothers” in widescreen and watch it in full one weekend.

EDIT: I forgot the title.
